Vegan Brownies
2 cups plain flour
2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup water
1 cup vegetable oil (or 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Add the water, vegetable oil and vanilla; mix well into a smooth batter. Spread evenly in a 9×13-inch cake pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool thoroughly before cutting into squares.
In India many bakers use Nestle milkmaid in place of Eggs.

Thanks for the blog and recipe.I will try this out. Mostly egg replacements in India is used for cakes.thanks for posting on cookies.

lots of times you can skip on eggs and use another coagulant.
